SEDBA’s May 2026 General Meeting is on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Geezers at 12120 Telegraph Rd, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670, for one (1) hour of General MCLE credit.
This meeting’s topic is “Understanding Sexual Offenses Against Children”. Presented by Dr. Jody Ward.
Social Hour begins at 5:00 PM
The Meeting starts at 6:00 PM
Admission is free for SEDBA Members with meal credits and $55 for all others.
About this month’s speaker:
Dr. Jody Ward has been a forensic psychologist in independent practice for 26 years,
specializing in sexual offending and sexual abuse. She has completed close to 2000
forensic evaluations, including evaluations of approximately 800 adults and adolescents
accused of sexual offending. She has testified close to 500 times in all types of cases
including death penalty mitigation, 275 times on the issue of child sexual abuse victim
behaviors. Dr. Ward has taught at various doctoral programs in the areas of
psychological assessment and alcohol and substance abuse for over 15 years. She
regularly provides training to district attorneys’ offices, law enforcement agencies, and
bar/attorney associations in the areas of sexual offending and sexual abuse.
